17 days in a Land Rover Defender on Africa's dusty roads. Namib Desert and Sossusvlei, Nakluft and out all the way through the desert to the coast at Swakopmund. Up north along the Skeleton Coast to Cape Cross before heading inland. Spitzkoppe, Brandbergen and Grootberg pass. A few days in Etosha heading down south back to Windhoek via Okonjima.

Wlotzkasbaken is a ghost holiday town north of Swakop that apparently spring to life during Christmas when people escape the heat inland for the cooler coast.
